Huma Kabakcı Collection is at the Contemporary Hungarian Picture Gallery of the Janus Pannonius Museum in Pecs. (Pecs, Papnövelde u. 5.)

Inaugurator of the exhibition:
Dr. Tayfun Belgin, Director of the Osthaus Museum in Hagen.
The exhibition area’s restoration has been funded by the city and Huma Kabakcı collection is the first to have taken place in the area at the Papnövel Street. The collection's creator Nahit Kabakcı, a Turkish tycoon, passed away last year and his daughter Huma Kabakcı undertook the maintenance of the collection. Exquisite objects of the collection were transferred from the city of Hagen, Germany for the exhibition to Pecs.

Güclü Öztekin, Ferruh Basaga, Cemal Bingöl, Kezban Arca Batibeki, Abidin Elderoglu, Selma Gürbüz, Sedef Hatapkapulu, Fikret Mualla Saygi, Azade Köker, Erinc Seymen, Erol Akyavas, Ara Güler, Kemal Seyhan, Devabil Kara, Abdurrahman Öztoprak, Nuri Iyem, Yüksel Arslan, Nedim Günsür, Ihsan Cemal Karaburcak, Ferruh Basaga, Sabri Berkel, Ismet Dogan.

Huma Kabakcı Collection opened on October 8th as the first exhibition of the renovated exhibition area of Janus Pannonious Museum, Contemporary Hungarian Picture Gallery. Kabakcı, who recently passed away, was an internationally-prominent collector of the 20th century Turkish Painting Art. The collection encompasses eminent pieces of the collection blowing the breeze of Western European and Turkish Culture. 
  
 
Pecs is the next stop of the exhibition after Hagen and Goslar, Germany.
